They say the world is going end of 21st December next year based upon on the Mayan Long Count calendar system which give us a 5125 year long cycle, next December is the end of that cycle. Obviously it means that the world is going to end. Excellent for big budget Hollywood movies but lousy for basic common sense.
Of course the problem with any man-made calendaring system is that it based upon mankind. For instance the Jewish calendar states that this year is 5772 and to quote Wikipedia: "Jewish calendar's reference point is traditionally held to be about one year before the Creation of the world." One can only assume that God was hard at work on his seven day colour coded planner during this year.
The Gregorian calendar which is internationally used is Christian based as in after Christ, A.D. standing for Anno Domini latin for "in the year of the/our Lord". Oddly enough Greece and Turkey didn't adopt it until 1923/6 which may account for their current crisis.
If we forget mankind for the moment and look at the age of the Earth some 4.54 billion years whilst I admit it would never fit on a standard paper calendar or even rolls off the tongue it does give us the true perspective in which to view our dating systems. A mere 5000 odd years looks insignificant in comparison.
Coming back to mankind, the world ends everyday and is reborn everyday. Those that die the world has ended and those that are born the world has started, that is the only perspective people are interested in.
That's people for you never looking at the larger picture.

The Darkstar Approaches
Woohoo back online, you wouldn't believe the time I've had!
I've moved six times since I last posted. Just when I think I'm safe I get another bloody postcard from Dr Nu Vesper Calif. A completely blank postcard with a red background with his name at the bottom. I mean what is with this guy hounding me all the time. No chance he will find me this time I'm completely underground, left behind all my old mail drops. Of course that means accessing my some of sources has become somewhat difficult but I will survive.
As to who this cat is I'm still drawing blank, it is like punching mist!
I see that the Darkstar (YU55) is on course to pass us tomorrow sometime and there no chance it is going to come anywhere near us only 200,000 km away. No chance of anything bad happening. It truly amazes me that people have to be told the bloody obvious all the time - is there any common sense left in the world!?!

It's Real Dark and Yet Bright at the same time!
Been getting reports about a meteor shower in Russia lighting up the sky like day on Tuesday night. My sources over there keep talking about how dark everything felt. Which made no sense to me although there was a general power outage across the UK just after the meteor shower started, so it was definitely dark here.

Mammoth Cells
One of my sources tells me that a Woolly Mammoth has been resurrected ahead of schedule by none other than the Corcas four or is it the Corcas three now?
Johnny Howard not only a top notch engineer but something of a biologist as well may have been the creator.
The basic idea is that you take Mammoth cells from a frozen mammoth they dug up in Siberia and implant them in egg cells of Elephants and hey presto you've got Oliphaunts/Mûmakil on our door step. What next magic rings?
There has not been a single peep out of the Corcas mob since Max Drum's death curious that.

The Sumer Word
Did you know that the Sumerians invented the written word, probably farming and inevitably bureaucracy. All starting around about 6000 B.C. Red Tape started all the way back then. I'm sure you remember my post about farming being the root of all evil, you can blame them for that too.
Sumer geography for the most part sits between two rivers: Tigris and Euphrates, the area/region was known as Mesopotamia. Which is Iraq today. My data on Sumer comes from a paper written for a doctrate degree some years ago in Cambridge I only mention this because it was considered be quite a breakthrough in Sumer histories and the interpretations surrounding the area. The paper was called: Cultrual Changes in Sumer after the Flood.
The two rivers flood on a regularly basis which is why the land between the rivers is so fertile, however there many flood myths which are attribute a particlarly large flood (The Flood) in the Sumer Empire round about 2400 B.C. Supposely the flood wiped out everyone leaving some chaps in a boat that just happened to be out fishing at the time.
It was at this time directly after the "flood" that the Sumer empire went into decline. What actually caused the change besides a big flood?
As a people they were not warlike which is unusal.
There was a definite shift in the balance of power after the flood, possibly some divisions within the government maybe.
A semitic ruler called Sargon succeeded in conquering the entire country. Eventually sumerians fused together with the invaders and became known as Akkadians. The Akkadian dynasty only lasted 100 years.

Then there is Gilgamesh the world's first superhero.

Hot off the Presses
Max Drum of the Corcas Four is dead!
They found him in his lab in the West Country office of Corcas, initial reports suggest a massive brain hemorrhage. Although nothing has really been ruled out as yet.

Histories with no memories
I always find it odd how people remember end dates in history over their start dates. For instance people remember when Apollo 11 landed on the moon (just in case you can't remember it is 20th July 1969) but not when it was launched. Similarly everyone remembers the dates on which the two World Wars ended but I doubt that they remember the start dates (look them up). Of course it is all about remembering the good and trying to forget the bad, which is odd again because most people remember bad things easier than good things. Bad memories seem to stick more but it never appears like that in history, but then history is normally written by the victors. Everyone remembers differently which is why eye witness accounts are considered to be worst evidence in a court of law.
Why do I bring this topic up? Well I've had three different sources tell me three different stories about something that apparently only happen about two months ago which no one seems to remember at all. Which should I believe since there is no hard evidence present and yet each one only remembers the bad, the bad appears to stick more in this case.
Whilst I haven't left my house since the 9th February, I am a digger of data which no one else has my sources have sources so don't bother asking where my sources come from.
Let me tell the story of my three sources they are not in chronological order, let me warn you though it is pretty heavy stuff not my usual read:
Source B:
He lives in the west owns a small farm, one evening whilst he was standing out on the front porch watching the sunset he notices a bright white light towards the north. He disregards it as just a low flying plane but then light is joined by several others, his eyes are drawn to the light like a moth to the flame. He can not move and soon there is white light around him, he feels only a soul destroying despair. He has never felt so bad before, he just wants to strike out and hit something but he is paralysed stuck inside a white nothingness which only seems to feed his feelings of dread. He doesn't know long it lasts, thirty seconds or thirty minutes. Waking up he finds himself on the ground with no memory of how he got there, they come later in nightmares that scare him so much he dares not sleep ever.
What he told me above is the least of his nightmares, he won't tell me the rest. He says there is a place that connects to everything all at the same time, he only sees death there.

She is a cleaner, working late in a high rise office everyone else has left for the night. There is a security guard on the ground floor but otherwise she is alone. Looking out of the window the sun has just set not that she could really tell in the city what with all of the light pollution. Feeling the ache in her hip from the rain of the night before she leans against a desk for few seconds before moving off pushing her trolley. That's when it happens, at first she is not sure what it is but then it is obvious that the building is shaking, letting go of the trolley which slides to the left bouncing off several desks. Putting her hand out to the nearest desk to steady herself but the desk is no longer there, in fact the office has completely vanished. There are stone walls around her and she sees in front of her a break in the wall beyond which is blue sky, she staggers towards it in disbelief. It is obvious to her that she must be in some kind of high stone tower, what she sees below almost takes her sanity fortunately the vision doesn't last long. Below on a blacken earth plain lie the remains of a battle, nothing human that she can recognise too many limbs, too long, too big, too many colours not natural colours not earth colours. Everything is dead or so she suspects until she sees that there is a slow movement of a liquid its colours changing all the time, it appears to be aware of her yet she does not know how she knows this. Before the vision vanishes and the office returns he feels a touch of something on her shoulder and then she is back.
She quits her job the next day and will never return to the city. She like B she sleeps rarely now for fear of seeing it again.

He is standing in a marsh to his left and right a fair distance apart he can see ruined stone towers, he does not remember how he got there. Looking down he sees that the water of the marsh has been churned up, there is more mud than water and yet there are many patches of deep red. He reaches down and touches a patch with his fingers, it is sticky on his fingers. Then he knows it is blood and that the entire marsh around him is covered in blood. There are no bodies, where did all this blood come from. He hears an odd clanking sound above him and in the distance he sees what looks like a metal bird, as it gets closer it as large as a two men plane. How can such a thing fly, it looks quite ungainly, somehow it lands not far from him. A group of men come towards him, they shout at him and yet there language is unfamiliar. Two are carrying long staffs which they point at him, he reaches for his wallet to show them who he is and immediately the staffs emit an orange flame towards him. It happens so fast he feels the heat briefly and then he is standing by a stile on the country path he was hiking just a second ago. The hairs on the back of his neck are standing up and he knows that a storm is coming.
Sleep comes easily to him but where he used to dream now he remembers nothing of his dreams.

Meteors and Fringe Event Theories
A recent comment on my previous post has the asked a question about meteors and I quote:
“Mr. Foilhead, I was wondering if you knew anything about meteors or asteroids that have fallen to earth in the past 50 years or so. I ask because you seem pretty informed on a lot of different things, and I'm doing a project for school, so I figured I'd see if there was anything you knew. ”
Now since a simple Google of the subject matter would provide far information than I could give, I can only assume the question has been asked to illicit an opinion as opposed to actual facts. This being a blog and blogs are mostly about people standing on a soap box giving their opinion to the world in general but then I am generalising like I always do. Whilst I am not an expert on the subject matter it will not stop me from using my intelligence and common sense to give a basic overview. Common sense seems to be at an all time low these days, I see it every day that curious inability to plug a tube into a round hole but I am digressing from the original subject.
Basic semantics and sizes: Meteoroids exist in space, when they broach the Earth's atmosphere they are called Meteors and if they ever impact the surface of the Earth then are called Meteorites. They range in size from that of a grain of sand to large boulders.
Origins: Meteors are said to be fragments of Comets and Comets come from the Oort Cloud which exists outside of our solar system at approx 3 light years in all directions.
Impacts in Recent History: Meteors hit the Earth every day and burn up in the atmosphere producing the phenomenon know as shooting stars, however some do get all the the way through. The most famous impact was the Tunguska event in the year 1908 which exploded in the air (still considered an impact) at a height of about 5 miles producing an explosive yield of about 15 megatones of TNT. There is some scientific debate about what actually exploded:
Mainstream Scientific Theories
A Meteoroid airburst is the leading scientific explanation evidence shows microscopic silicate and magnetite spheres in siftings of the soil, which later studies showed that the spheres contained high proportions of nickel relative to iron normally found in meteorites. Various other anomalies were found which is consistent with an impact event of a meteorite.
In 1930 a British astronomer came up with the theory that it was a small comet instead. A cometary meteorite, being composed primarily of ice and dust, could have been completely vaporized by the impact with the Earth's atmosphere, leaving no obvious traces. Remember when I said meteors to be fragments of Comets, which means the previous statement “ice and dust” to be somewhat mis-leading or is it both? Ice, Dust and rock? The comet theory maybe supported by glowing skies observed across Europe during the time of the impact. The comet's tail basically dispersing in the upper atmosphere.
Fringe Event Theories
The above theories are based upon facts that fit their theories whilst effectively being the same theory as I pointed out with regard to a meteor being a fragment of comets. The following theories are based upon pure fancy or facts not in evidence to suit theories:
A passing black hole: it must have been a small one, microscopic in fact and travelling very fast. Otherwise I suspect I wouldn't be writing this blog. This theory doesn't allow for the evidence found at the impact site or some similar exit explosion.
Antimatter falling from space: How was this antimatter contained before it entered our atmosphere and again it doesn't allow for the evidence on the site.
UFO Crash Site: This is of course my all time favourite, the Tunguska Spatial Phenomenon Foundation say it happened: "...is absolutely convinced a spacecraft sacrificed itself to save the world." Smacks of a Doctor Who script written by Douglas Adams and reused by the same author in his book: Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. UFOs are obviously designed never to land otherwise why do they always crash?
There are about 1000 other theories regarding this event which I'm sure you can research yourself, however they are in the event just theories. The mystery remains.

A future event creates an echo in the past reverberating back and forth absorbing energy and matter as it goes, before it terminates in 1908 (Numerlogy of this number is oddly enough: 1+9+8 = 18, 1+8 = 9). A theory that fits the facts in evidence, did this event occur on the 9th February this year?

Similar airburst events (about a dozen) have occurred since although nowhere near the scale of Tunguska event and either no remains were found or low amounts of material from the meteorite are found normally in grams.

Code & Ack Ack!
Well I was going to write a post about History, start dates, maps and boundaries but I’ve just had an old source send me some data which I would like to share with you all. And I received another code this time via snail mail, thought it was junk mail at first but the lacking of the postage stamp (not the actual stamp that was there), no the stamp that the mail office put on it to say that the postage has been paid was missing. Why put a stamp on if you going to post it yourself?
I opened the envelope inside was a single piece of paper, one word on the page “under”. Took me a while but I finally figured it out, a few minutes after boiling the kettle for much needed coffee I managed to get the stamp off cleanly. Underneath was the following code, looks like playfair again:

Hope this means something to someone.
Haven’t heard from this source in a while actually so I’m not sure about the quality of the data, the content is extreme to say the least. Apparently a big electronics firm (no name given) is involved in a plan to extract a newly discovered element, to quote my source: “…it will come from space, they won’t be able to control it…” What this element is my source didn’t say although the content of the email showed my source to be quite scared indeed.
Currently having visions of green bug-eyed aliens, although I have always preferred Tim Burton’s Mars Attacks version of the alien menace:
“Ack, Ack!”
Never understood why the American public didn't like it, maybe the sense of humor was too dry for their liking.
The source did say one other thing: the method for the extraction was recently deployed using the X-37B. I saw that on the Register, the mission was completely classified.

McCarthyism - The Red Scare
It would appear the message I received via phone see below relates to McCarthyism
"Venona - ck gm mh sw go nv"
Operation Venona was all about reading the "Reds" coded radio messages so it seems to line up with McCarthyism angle. Why give to me I don't know. Are they perhaps suggesting that history once again is repeating itself this time in the form of the "War on Terror". Our civil liberties removed in the name of the greater good.
Remember my post about cliff hangers and history being full of curious coincidences, are we then at another dramatic point in history. With Nuclear power stations round the world going fut, what really happened on the 9th February (haven't got round to emailing the P.I. yet) and now this.
What is this 729 number as well, aside from the obvious maths of the number 9x9x9 = 729 and if you apply simple numerology 7+2+9 = 18, 1+8 = 9. 9 is the number what it means I haven't got a clue. This number came from my source regarding the 9th February.
It is said that God doesn't play dice perhaps he likes to tantalize us with coincidences with numbers, of course this is based on the Base 10 number system change the base and I'm sure these curious connections will cease to be or maybe new connections will appear.
There is a lot going on, the world is far from dull.

Nutty Professor of Cambridge Causes a Stir!
One of my sources sent me this data from yesterday.
"Infamous among the students as the Nutty Professor, he shouted in the middle of University Library 'the World has ended and the darkness is coming...'"
Apparently the whole thing has been hushed up, although my source was unclear on who did the hushing.
I'm tempted to leave the house to investigate further however I haven't left since the 9th February, odd that it lines up with the 9th February Cover-up. It didn't even occur to me til now that perhaps the events are connected, normally I quite good at spotting these things. It is like a veil has covered my eyes. Why haven't I left the house in just over a month I'm sure you are currently wondering. Answer is I'm not really sure just can't put my finger on it, feel like the world outside has some how changed very subtly it is barely perceptible really.

Fridge Killer
Did you see the news a fridge killed a janitor in an office building yesterday!
One of my sources close to the Nuclear Energies Commission says there is more going than contaminated fuels cells something is really up or down depending on how you look at.
Another surprise found the P.I. regarding the cover-up of the 9th February and lol he is following my blog, I never noticed. Going to send him an email and ask him why his old website is blank.
Had a odd phone call in the middle of night, the odd part is that I'm ex-directory and I'm very careful about not giving my physical contact data ever! The contents of the call was odd too.
The line was a mass of static but I managed to make out the following words and letters. Looks like a code of some sort:

The voice was definitely a woman.

Conspiracies Abound
If you look on the Fortean Times forums under Conspiracy there are currently 1409 topics. Quite amazing really just makes you wonder how many of those topics are actually genuine and I'm not limiting this to the FT either.
Lets look at some of the possibilities shall we:
- Hoaxes either for fun or to drive market stocks/shares up or down
- Heard from a friend of a friend
- Disinformation by a company and/or government
- Adverts for the next blockbuster
- Science thought to be controlled by dark forces...
- Every secret society ever (obviously not that secret)
- Anyone famous, were they killed?
- Lets us not forget Godwin's Rule
- Fiction seen as Fact
- Genuine article
And the problem with that genuine article is that it is still a theory based upon hopefully common sense reasoning and maybe some facts that normally fail to prove anything definite otherwise it wouldn't a be theory.
For any theory it should about making the theory fit the facts and not the other way. Scientists discovering that the universe was missing some matter because it didn't fit into observable results invented Dark Matter so everything fitted together again. This is a well accepted theory, it however smacks of changing the facts to fit the theory. Why do I bring this up, because human nature is the same the world over we love stories and inventing facts to fit our theories, but then I'm generalising like I always do.

Mammoth Conspiracy
Time to go off at a tangent just had some data come in from an old but reliable source. Apparently something happened on the night of February 9th here in the northern hemisphere which everybody seems to have forgotten about me included.
My source tells me there has been a big cover up about that night. Whatever happened its origin was somewhere in the cambrian mountains. I'm told that private investigator was involved who my source and I have failed to find so far. The only other thing that has cropped up regarding this conspiracy is the number: 729.
I expect you are wondering how my source got hold of this info, well I'm thinking the same thing and guess what he has vanished off the grid.
Life just got interesting again.

Farming Changed Everything!
Time for a brief history lesson, lets go back a bit further before advent of the 'R' word towards the end of the last ice age which on the calendar is called the Mesolithic (2) period when mankind were hunter gathers eating meat, fish and living as part of nature not shaping it. The population was low purely because there wasn't enough food to go around. They had domesticated the dog for hunting as well.
At this point in the planet's history the land is warming up and changes in the environment is changing mankind's behaviour. For instance the first known battle occurred at Cemetery 117, what they were fighting about is a complete mystery.
Scrolling forward a few thousand years we come to the Neolithic period which is really the beginning of the end of living with nature. This is the age of farming, now we are shaping the land to suit us. The population increases because there is more food, people are staying in one place and the concept of ownership rears its ugly head.
Aside from the changes in technology nothing really has changed since. Mankind lost it connection to nature when they became farmers and started adapting the land to suit themselves. This change in behaviour is one of the causes of every major war in history, as the population grows you need more land. One of the other causes is of course one's belief structure which oddly enough is closely connected to needing more land. Man's needs are quite simple really, we are three meals away from anarchy no truer word has spoken of the western world. If we were still hunter gathers living with nature then would the world be a better place?!?

Mob Control
Lets come back to the Roman Emperor Constantine who must of realised that Christianity was a better religious doctrine to control the masses than any previous religions before it. Especially since empowered Man over Woman, the previous pagan religions were all about the women having all the power, mother Earth and so forth.
Historically religion has always been used as a tool to get the mob to do what the leaders want. And religion doesn't have to be about believing in God, just look at Nazi Germany and fanatical belief structure that came out of that regime. It is always been about controlling the masses in full view of the public and we the public let them do it.

Lost in Translation
Before I go deeper into this point lets us go back to the very beginnings of the one true god. During the early 17th Century when the throne passed from the Tudors to the Stuarts, James 1st instigated the translation of the Bible into a single English version although it wasn’t original his idea. John Reynolds of Corpus Christi College put forth the idea. We know this version as the King James I Bible, now the problem with any translation and it is still true of today languages that there always is something lost in the translation. John Reynolds himself stated: “…because those which were allowed in the reigns of Henry the eighth, and Edward the sixth, were corrupt and not answerable to the truth of the Original." The problem being which original are we talking about, how many times has the Bible has it been translated?
Lets us assume for the moment that the King James I Bible is and the please excuse the pun, the God’s honest truth. At the beginning of Genesis:
"27": So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Now if we take this sentence to be the literal truth and follow it to its logical conclusion then God looks like man but what if we take it little be further and say that man is just a copy of God. This means of course that all the bad things that make up man also make up God, which in turn means God is flawed. Skipping forward slightly to the time of Moses we discover that God has forsaken most of his creations and chosen a race of people who still conform to his way of thinking. Therefore God is effectively prejudice against the bulk of his own creation and in so doing invented some racist values which still hold true today. The Old Testament paints God as a super-being that is bad tempered and gets extremely annoyed when his own creations start thinking for themselves. The New Testament paints the complete reverse that God loves us all even ones thinking for themselves and realising that God is no longer required if he ever was. Which would of course prove that God is just as flawed as the rest of us.

The 'R' Word
From the point of view of western civilisation the only religion that matters is Christianity. I find it curious that out all of religions in the world today that a historically small and minor religious sect should end up with so much control over human affairs. What was it about this sect that the Roman Emperor Constantine saw to his advantage? By the fourth century AD Christianity was the state religion and anything else was pure heresy. Much blood spilt there after and still is steeped in it by people spreading the good word. Religion creates prejudices but then I'm generalising like I always do. I have no problem with people believing in an higher power the problem is all the pointless rituals that surrounds a fair proportion of these faiths and their constant basic intolerance to everyone else who doesn't believe as they do.

Good vs Evil
I find it odd that good eventfully triumphs over the evil in this world of ours at least so far in our history, it may take sometime but it does. I can already hear people saying that is just so much nonsense and that all you have to do is look the world crime statistics but I’m not talking about the present day I’m talking about past events. Although I do admit crime is ever present in our society. Most people will argue that man is generally a good guy and because there are more good guys than bad ones they are eventually overwhelmed by pure numbers. A quite a good argument except for the obvious flaw that our concepts of good and bad are based traditionally one thing alone. A thing which, I think has enslaved us from the very start, if you haven’t already guessed I am of course talking about religion.

Cliff Hangers Continued
You have only to look at recent history to prove the point, for example the Cuban Missile Crisis surely the ultimate in cliff-hangers if I ever saw one. The world literally held its breadth at that point. Now I remember exactly what I was doing when someone flew two Jumbo-Jets into the World Trade Center and I am sure many Americans that were alive at the time remember exactly what they were doing when JFK was killed. I almost remember thinking later that day when I watched live on TV the twin towers falling apart before my eyes ‘I can’t believe this is happening it doesn’t seem real at all’. I was not unsurprisingly quite shocked by the whole event but I days later I did wonder at its timing. I hear you cry ‘he’s a nut’ well maybe you are right or maybe you have to be a nut just to put these feelings into words.

Cliff Hangers
Most people know the basics to human history you could ask average man in the street and I am sure that the even the broadest outline would be given. But when think about our entire history it makes you wonder whether our history has in fact actually been staged managed from the very beginning. I know this all sounds very conspiracy theorists and I suspect you are all asking for my evidence. I wouldn’t say that have any solid evidence just a serious of questions about history as a whole. They say that true life is stranger than fiction well you couldn’t have said a truer word when history is stuffed full of cliff-hangers, violence and drama.

Delusions of History
Lets see I am some thirty-four year of ages and when I think about it, my existence is quite insignificant compared to the millennia that has gone before. Even if I live to be a hundred it still wouldn’t be a particularly a long time in the scheme of things. It is odd how unreal the history of mankind seems sometimes, now I know events in history have happen but because I wasn’t there to witness them personally it makes them somewhat less true at least in my eyes.
